We encourage families to submit an enrolment application when their child is in Year 3, during Term 1.

Enrolment offers for Year 7 are usually made in Term 4 of Year 3 following an enrolment interview. At times, the number of applications we receive may be greater than the places available. If this happens, your application may be placed on our waitlist and we will keep you informed should a place become available.

No. It is not necessary to upload or provide your child’s NAPLAN reports at the time of application. Parents can submit an application without supplying these reports. If required, the College may request this information at a later stage.

While Holy Spirit College is a Catholic school, we are open to all families seeking a faith-based education in a welcoming and inclusive community. We celebrate the diversity of the families we serve and invite everyone to participate in and support the Catholic traditions, beliefs and values that guide our schools and enrich the educational experience of every student. Children who are baptised Catholic are given priority of enrolment at Brisbane Catholic Education schools.

If places become available, applications on our Wait List will be reviewed in line with our Enrolment Policy and invited to attend an interview with a member of our Leadership Team.

Please note, the College will not advise families of where they are located within the Wait List.

We welcome students and families who share in the values and ethos of a Catholic education. Each application we receive is assessed on its merit however where limited availability exists, priority may be given in the following order:

1. Students from Catholic families who are baptised or have a demonstrated commitment to the faith within their Parish community
2. A sibling of a current or past student of the school
3. A current student of another BCE Catholic school
4. Students from other Catholic schools
5. Students from families of other faith traditions or no faith tradition who are willing to support the values and life of the College

Families are encouraged to review the BCE Enrolment Policy before submitting an application.

Before you start, it helps to have a few documents on hand. You'll be asked to enter some details from your child's birth certificate directly into the form, you don't need to upload the certificate itself. If your child is offered an interview, please bring the original birth certificate along with you.

You may need to upload the following, if they apply to your child:

1. Their two most recent school reports
2. Baptismal or other sacramental certificates
3. Medical, specialist reports, or other supporting information
4. Parenting plans or court orders
5. Residency or visa documentation
6. Medical Action Plan

To finalise your child’s enrolment, please complete our online application form and pay the non-refundable application fee of $110 per student.

During Year 6, students with an accepted enrolment will be invited to participate in transition activities designed to support a positive and successful start to College life. These experiences provide opportunities to become familiar with the College environment, meet staff and peers, and begin building connections within the community.

Parents and caregivers of accepted students will also be invited to attend information sessions and engagement opportunities to learn more about College life, key processes and expectations, and connect with staff ahead of commencement.
